INDIA❤💕. Digital India is the best way to manage and safe time of common public. as most the major services are now available online and it can be done just by sitting at our home infront of lappy or just by going to our local cyber cafe.

This is a cyber security blog i am not going to talk about advantages and disadvantages. many articles related to it are lying on google search page. No one can stop Digitalization and no one wants to coz time is money man you don't want to stand in 1 km line just to pay the electricity bill.!! it will much better to pay bill over the sip of tea.

But there are some things which we have to keep in mind to be safe from Crackers not Hackers.

THINGS CRACKERS DO ONLINE TO HACK YOU AND TO STEAL MONEY AND DATA FROM YOU.

1. BY OFFERING SOME FREE STUFF AND ATTRACTIVE THINGS.

We often see pop-ups get free iphonex from this method. they basically ask for your all info like name, address , phone number and then to continue to gift they will ask you to share this page in 10 whatsapp grp . in greed of getting a free iphonex you share that page. and the site owner gets tons of data which he can sell, use fake profiles using your data and do fraud using your name, can call your bank support to get your account number by pretending to be you through your personal data.

they can add security question of Google in their site to get the answers from you and then use those answers to hack your Google account.!

Access to your Google account means access to your social media , your drive , your pics..!!

sounds scary? yes it is.

2.BY MAKING YOU FOOL! -__-

You got a fake email from a bank. and without checking the sender's mail address or Id . you started reading subject. it was something about updating your bank account details and there was a link to update details. you quickly open that link then again without checking site URL you start filling or updating(LOL) details. you provide them with personal details even cc number and cvv and account number.

so congrats you have been hacked.

they look very real!

then how to be safe and how to identify. simple call you bank and talk to them directly before giving any personal info.

ALWAYS CHECK THE SITE URL IS THE SITE IS STARTING WITH https: BEFORE GIVING ANY PERSONAL DETAILS AND CHECK THE URL YOU VISITED IS FROM ORIGINAL BANK.

3. JUST BY BROWSING TO A NORMAL ADVERTISEMENT PAGE!!

. yes you read it right you can be hacked just by visiting to a simple ad pop-up . want to know how?

Crackers attach browser exploits which invoke the cam and mic plugins silently. they get your saved password ,history, your facecam dirty face (LOL) your mic. they can also install keylogger and trojans

keylogger can track what you type and send it to the creator of the keylogger

trojans can collect app data , delete app data and the owner can take over your lappy. (depends on quality of trojan)

SO HOW TO BE SAFE FROM THIS ATTACK.!

1. DOWNLOAD A GOOD AD-BLOCKER TO STOP POPPING OF ADS

2. A GOOD ANTIVIRUS CAN EASILY DETECT THE TROJAN OR KEYLOGGERS AND REMOVE IT AUTOMATICALLY AND IT WILL ALSO NOTIFY YOU ABOUT BACKGROUND USAGE OF MIC AND CAMERA

3. I ALWZ PUT A TAPE ON MY CAM (LOL) BUT I SUGGEST YOU TO DO THE SAME

4. NEVER SAVE YOUR CC AND CVV AND SOCIAL MEDIA PASSWORDS ON BROWSER.

5. USE INCOGNITO MODE TO BE SAFE FROM HISTORY LEAK AND COOKIE LEAK...
